The mini freeze dryer is a technical method of pre-freezing water-containing items, and then subliming their moisture in a vacuum state to obtain dry items. The freeze-dried articles are easy to be stored for a long time, and after adding water, they can be restored to the state before freeze-drying and maintain the original biochemical properties. For dry heat-sensitive substances, freeze-drying technology can show its superiority.

Mini freeze dryer simple operating procedures:

1. The sample is firstly pre-frozen at low temperatures. The optional method is to place the sample in a low-temperature refrigerator to make the sample solid.

2. Check whether all the valves in the sample chamber are closed (that is, the inclined side is aligned with the small opening), turn on the main power switch on the left side of the instrument, and then open the refrigeration button on the front panel of the instrument, observe the LCD screen of the instrument, and the temperature to be frozen is lower than 40 ℃ After that, continue to open the vacuum pump button until the vacuum degree drops.

Precautions：

1. Do not switch on and off frequently during operation. If the refrigerator stops running due to operating errors, it cannot be started immediately. Wait at least 20 minutes before starting again to avoid damage to the refrigerator.

2. After each freeze-drying, after the ice on the cold trap coil turns into water, clean it with a towel. After freeze-drying, turn on the "inflating valve" to inflate the cold trap slowly, so as not to damage the vacuum gauge.

3. Freeze-dried samples should not contain acid and organic solvents as much as possible, otherwise the vacuum pump will be damaged. If it is difficult to solve, the user must apply it to the center and replace the vacuum oil in time after use.

4. It is forbidden to use organic solvents, especially on the plexiglass surface of the panel.

5. After a power failure or closing of the compressor cooling button, it must be turned on again after an interval of 3 to 5 minutes.

Instrument maintenance：

1. The surface of the compressor heat sink should be kept clean, and can be cleaned with a dry cloth and dry brush.

2. Under normal circumstances, the rubber ring does not need to be oiled, but it should be kept free of particulate impurities.

3. Before starting, it is necessary to check whether the outlet valve has been tightened, and whether the inflation valve has been closed, and whether the contact surface of each rubber ring is clean and free of stains.
