Freeze drying equipment, also known as vacuum freeze dryer, is mostly assembled by drying room, refrigerating system, vacuum system, heating system and control system.
1. Drying room,
Drying room is one of the most important components of freeze dryer, the quality of drying chamber influences the ability of freeze dryer directly, it can freeze and heat on the same time. There are two main shapes: squared and cylinder-shaped. For cylinder-shaped, it is easy to operate but with high manufacturing-cost, for square shaped is the opposite.
2. Refrigerating system,
The refrigerating system is a key component of freeze dryer, it includes several different parts, for example, refrigerating compressor, condenser, evaporator and thermal expansion valve.
3. Vacuum system,
The vacuum system contains vacuum pump, vacuum voltmeters, vacuum pressure switch, vacuum degree control valve and so on.
4. Heating system,
Heating system is made out of heating plate, heat exchanger, circulating pump and pipeline, valve, temperature sensor, etc.
5. Control system,
There are all kinds of switches, safety devices, automatic monitoring sensors and instruments can be controlled manually or automatically. The control system is the command and control center of the freeze drying machine, which can effectively control the correct operation of the freeze drying process and record the effective parameters of the whole process.
