Royal Jelly Lyophilizer

Lyophilized royal jelly powder is to freeze the fresh royal jelly into solid state, then place it under vacuum condition, to sublimate its moisture, therefore lyophilized royal jelly powder is produced. The freeze dry technique mostly preserved nutrients inside the freeze dried powder. Moisture and impurities are removed from the fresh royal jelly. Physical changes applied to the production ensures the nutrients in royal jelly do not affect by the production.

Unlike fresh royal jelly, lyophilized royal jelly powder can be measured more accurately, can be kept under room temperature for a longer time and is easy to use, all this advantages making freeze dried royal jelly powder become more popular in the market. It is replacing fresh royal jelly.

The freeze dried machine has following steps during the production line:  filter the fresh royal jelly, then dilute with distilled water, freeze dry the raw material, after sterilization, put into separated packages and it is finished product in the end.

(1)     Filtration: Add same amount of distilled water in royal jelly, stir it well, then filtering with Nylon yarn net, to remove the impurities. After filtration, place the royal jelly in the tray, with a thickness of 8 to 10 mm. Do not seal the tray, put the tray inside of freeze dried chamber.

(2)     Vacuum freeze dry: Turn on the freeze dryer, lower the temperature to about -40℃, freeze the royal jelly, then control the vacuum degree at 133kPa, and temperature about -25℃. The temperature of condenser should be about -50℃, this would speed up the steam to evaporate. After about 12 hours, the moisture would be about 10% inside royal jelly, the purpose of prime drying is reached, but it can not be preserved for a long time. Therefore it should be dried for 4 to 5 more hours. Eventually the moisture would reach a level of 2%. That would be the end of the freeze drying process.
