How to use the freeze-dryer correctly

Customized Industrial Freeze-Dryer cool the air by cooling it down, which is when water vapor from compressed air condenses into water droplets, thereby reducing the moisture content. The condensate drops are discharged from the machine through an automatic drainage system. As long as the ambient temperature of the pipe downstream of the dryer outlet is not lower than the dew point temperature of the evaporator outlet, no secondary condensation will occur.

The brief operation process of the Customized Industrial Freeze-Dryer is as follows:

One: prepare before freezing

1, the material should be evenly placed in the material tray, the thickness of the material should not exceed 10mm. The material temperature sensor shall be placed in the appropriate position of the material and fixed.

2. Put the tray containing the material on the lyophilized rack, and then put it into the cold well, and cover the insulation cover.

3. Turn on the main power switch. After freeze-drying, if nitrogen (or other inert gas) is needed to be filled into the drying chamber, the nitrogen from the drain outlet should be first filled into the cold well chamber, the drain pipe should be flushed, and then the drain valve should be closed.

Two: material pre-freezing

Prefreezing of materials is a key step in freeze-drying process. The quality of pre-freezing process directly affects the quality of products. Material prefreezing process can be divided into slow freezing and fast freezing. Users can flexibly operate the equipment according to their specific needs to realize the effective pre-freezing of materials. Such as:

1, slow freezing: put the prepared material into the cold well, cover the insulation cover, open the compressor, and start the pre-freezing;

2. Quick freezing: first open the compressor, wait for the temperature of the cold well chamber to drop to a certain temperature, and then put the prepared materials into the cold well and start the pre-freezing;

Three: freeze drying operation

1, after the end of pre-freezing, close the water inlet valve.

2. The material frame is put out from the cold well room and put on the spare movable hard plastic tray (all placed above the cold well room), and then cover the plexiglass cover. If the material is freeze-dried by the gland device, quickly transfer the material from the pre-freezing rack to the shelf of the gland device after the material is pre-frozen, and the gland is covered.

3. The system runs on the equipment operation panel. Press the "vacuum pump" button, the vacuum pump works, press the "vacuum gauge" button, the vacuum degree is displayed. When the vacuum degree reaches about 30Pa, press the "Heat" button to start the freeze-drying process, and the drying starts according to the preset process procedure.

Four: shutdown operation

1. Open the drain inlet valve of the freeze-dryer, make the air (or inert gas such as nitrogen) slowly enter the cold well room (the vacuum degree display number resumes), and press the vacuum pump key to stop the vacuum pump.

2. Press the "Vacuum Gauge" and "Compressor" keys in turn to close the vacuum gauge and compressor.

3. For a gland system, turn the lever on the plexiglass cylinder clockwise until the three-ply stopper is pressed. After that, turn the handle counterclockwise to restore the tray position and prepare for the next step of removing the tray.

4. Remove the plexiglass cover and store the items.
