How to Shut Down Freeze Dryer Properly
In order to maintain the quality of food vacuum freeze dryer, certain steps are needed to shut down the machine.

1. Plug in the freeze dryer’s fast-inflation valve correctly, and switch off the power of vacuum pump, let air slowly enter the cold trap, if inert gas is needed, then the pipe needs to connect with Inflatable port.
2. Turn off the freeze dryer’s vacuum gauge, and refrigerating machine, if not going to use it in a long-term, remove the power cord.
3. Lift the plexiglass cover, take out the products, preserve them, and that is the end of freeze drying process.
4. Once the ice in cold trap melt into water, remove the water from the fast-inflation valve, the process is similar to air inflation.
5. Remove the moisture and impurities from water in cold trap, properly maintain the equipment.
6. For multi-manifold type, the rubber valve should be closed one by one and the lyophilized bottle should be removed before the shutdown operation is repeated.
