This scheme is based on the blueberry vacuum freeze dryer (blueberry freeze dryer), which is provided by Kassel Machinery and belongs to a production freeze dryer.
Introduction
Blueberry is a perishable berry that is widely consumed in the United States and has high economic value and healthy nutrients. It is a source of many antioxidants, such as anthocyanins. Blueberry fruit is rich in nutrients. It not only has good nutritional and health care effects, but also has functions such as preventing brain nerve aging, strengthening the heart, anti-cancer and softening blood vessels, and enhancing human immunity. In addition to the conventional sugar, acid and Vc, the fruit is rich in VE, VA, VB, SOD, arbutin, protein, anthocyanin, edible fiber and abundant mineral elements such as K, Fe, Zn, and Ca.
Purpose
Due to the strong seasonality and short shelf life of blueberries, they are easy to deteriorate at room temperature, which significantly reduces the edibility and nutrients. Freeze-dried blueberries have no green additions, so as to better retain the nutrition of raw blueberries.
Freeze-dried blueberries well maintain the color, aroma and taste of blueberries, and have bright color, crisp taste, rich blueberry flavor, sweet and sour taste, can be eaten as finished products, and can be further processed after rehydration. Freeze-dried blueberries have broad market prospects.
Science: Freeze-dried blueberries are better than hot-air dried blueberries
There are great differences in fruit tissue structure, rehydration, and active ingredients between vacuum freeze-dried and hot-air-dried products.

Comparison of rehydration: In this study, it was found that vacuum freeze-dried blueberry pulp had more pores and loose structure, while hot air-dried blueberry pulp had fewer pores and denser tissue structure. Vacuum freeze-dried blueberries had good rehydration, and after 20 min rehydration, the rehydration ratio was 2.15 g/g; hot air-dried blueberries had poor rehydration, and the rehydration ratio was 1.21 g/g at the end.
Nutrient composition comparison: vacuum freeze-drying kept the active ingredients of blueberries better, the contents of VC, total anthocyanins and total phenols in the dried fruits were 5.52 mg/100 g, 1.55 mg/g and 3.35 mg/g, respectively; The contents of the three in dried blueberries were 0.19 mg/100 g, 0.08 mg/g and 1.26 mg/g, respectively, and vacuum freeze-drying could keep the high active components of blueberries.
These differences provide a theoretical basis for the preparation of high-quality dried blueberry products and industrial production.

Process flow
Freeze-dried blueberry production line: selection - cleaning - draining - freeze drying - screening - packaging.
1 pick
First of all, we need to choose fruits with suitable maturity, strong aroma, fresh color, high sugar content, no disease and no rot as raw materials.
2 cleaning
Once the blueberry stock is ready, it's time to wash. Washes off the waxy and harmful microorganisms attached to the peel, and also has a disinfection effect.
After cleaning, with a clean luster and a rich fruity aroma, the blueberries will officially enter the processing process, turning them into delicious freeze-dried blueberries.

3 Drain
Put the washed blueberries neatly into a clean tray, and drain with the help of some kind of equipment or in a natural ventilation environment. The purpose of this is to drain the excess water on the fruit surface.
4 freeze-dried
Vacuum freeze-drying: The blueberries are pre-cooled and frozen, put into the vacuum chamber of the freeze dryer for drying, the vacuum degree is about 10 Pa, the cold trap temperature is -82 ℃, and the blueberries are dried until the final water content is (5±1)%.
5 Screening
Remove the dried blueberries from the tray, and then sort out the dried blueberries evenly by grade.
6 packs
Select high-quality dried fruits and put them in non-toxic plastic bags, and pack them according to market demand, such as 100 grams, 150 grams, and 500 grams. In the fruit box, there are the appearance date and the inspector number. Store the packaged products in a cool, dry place and wait for the market.
If you need blueberry freeze-dried powder, crush the freeze-dried blueberries or freeze-dried blueberries with a bad appearance and grind them into powder!
