Thrombin is a serine proteolytic enzyme that plays an important role in the blood coagulation system. It can hydrolyze the 4 Arg-Gly peptide bonds of fibrinogen and convert the sol-state fibrinogen into gel-state fibrin. At the same time, it can promote platelet aggregation, further accelerate blood coagulation, and achieve the purpose of rapid hemostasis.

At present, most of the thrombin preparations used clinically are prothrombin extracted from bovine blood or pig blood, and the sterile freeze-dried product of thrombin is obtained by activation of the prothrombin activator has high specificity. It is a fast-acting local hemostatic drug, widely used in gastrointestinal bleeding and surgical hemostasis.

The preparation method of porcine thrombin freeze-dried powder by pharmaceutical vacuum freeze dryer, the main steps are as follows:

(1) The separation and purification process of porcine thrombin roughly includes steps such as pretreatment of porcine plasma, extraction of prothrombin, activation of prothrombin, preparation of crude thrombin, and purification of thrombin;
