Operation steps
Preparation:
- Choose fresh, undamaged flowers.
- Prune the bouquets appropriately, remove excess leaves and branches, and facilitate loading into the equipment.
Loading bouquets:
- Place the bouquets evenly on the tray of the vacuum dryer, making sure there is enough space between the flowers.
- Pay attention to the angle of the bouquets to ensure a beautiful final drying effect.
Set parameters:
- Set the appropriate temperature and vacuum degree according to the type and characteristics of the flowers.
- The temperature during freeze-drying is usually low to avoid damage to the flowers by high temperature.
Drying process:
- Under a vacuum environment, the water in the flowers is sublimated by slowly increasing the temperature.
- Monitor parameters such as temperature and pressure throughout the process to ensure the quality and safety of the bouquets.
Post-processing:
- After drying, take out the bouquets and check their degree of dryness and shape.
- The bouquets can be lightly arranged to remove a small amount of debris that may be generated during the drying process.
Packaging and storage:
- Pack the dried bouquets appropriately to prevent moisture and mechanical damage.
- Store in a dry, ventilated environment, away from direct sunlight and high humidity.
